8:28. యెహోరాము అహాబు వంశానికి చెందినవాడు. సిరియా రాజయిన హజయేలుతో రామోత్గిలాదు అనేచోట యుద్ధం చేసేందుకు అహజ్యా యెహోరాముతో కలిసి వెళ్లాడు. సిరియన్లు యెహోరాముని గాయపరచిరి. ఆ గాయముల నుండి బాగు పడుటకు గాను యెహోరాము రాజు ఇశ్రాయేలుకి తిరిగి వెళ్లిపోయాడు. యెహోరాము యెజ్రెయేలు అనే ప్రదేశానికి పోయాడు. యెహోరాము కుమారుడైన అహజ్యా యూదా యొక్క రాజు. అహజ్యా యెహోరాముని చూడటానికి యెజ్రెయేలు వెళ్లాడు.

8:28. అతడు అహాబు కుమారుడైన యెహోరాముతోకూడ రామోత్గిలాదునందు సిరియా రాజైన హజాయేలుతో యుద్ధముచేయ బయలుదేరగా సిరియనులు యెహోరా మును గాయపరచిరి.

8:28. He joined Ahab's son Joram in a battle against King Hazael of Syria at Ramoth Gilead in which the Syrians defeated Joram.
